Shapeways pricing tool

If you want to make profit from selling stuff on Shapeways, you have to set the end price for each model and each material/variant. This is very tedious, so I wrote some JavaScript that makes the pricing table more usable.

To run it, paste the contents of this file into the JavaScript console of your browser on the Shapeways product editor page. Or install the script in Greasmonkey. The script will apply the following enhancements to the page:

• In each material row of the pricing table, the markup field becomes editable, so you can directly specify how many dollars you want to earn on each sale. Changes are applied to the rest of the row when the focus leaves the markup field.
• To the right of the markup field, there is now an input where you can enter the size of the markup in percent of the base price. Changes are applied when you leave the field.
• The sticky table header that appears whenever you check the checkboxes in one or more rows also gets input fields for setting the markup in dollar and percent of the base price. The entered values are applied to all selected rows as soon as the focus leaves the respective input field.
• By clicking on a variant name in the pricing table, the checkboxes of all material rows in that section of the table are toggled. The main use of this is to quickly select all material rows belonging to a variant in order to then set the associated model file for all of them using the sticky table header.
