We lift up our eyes to the stars of the night:
Oh what grandeur, oh what splendor, oh what awesome delight!
The Creator, who's our Father, set them all in their place,
watches faithful His children with a smile on His face.
We go through the gate to the man nailed to beams.
Let them bind Him, let them beat Him, yet as Lamb never screams.
All our guilt and all our sickness He bore out of this world
to save all who come faithful to His banner unfurled.
We listen inside to the voice that assures:
You're my children, you'll inherit, and the kingdom is yours!
Holy Spirit, God's own power, who equips us to serve
and who wisdom will grant us if in faith we don't swerve.
We praise the great Lord, tell His deeds and His worth:
He has made and He sustains and has redeemed sky and Earth.
To king Jesus be all glory, whom as brother we love,
to the Spirit uniting and the Father above!
